OT--OT--OT!!

<Life expectancy for people 50 years old and older has not changed in the last century<

Well, Scumbria, I was intrigued enough by your statements about this to actually look up the data...

In 1900 the average 50 year old male had a life expectancy of 21 years, the average 50 year old female of 20 years.

In 1998 the average 50 year old male had a life expectancy of 28 years, the average 50 year old female had a life expectancy of 31 years. That's a 33% increase for men and a 55% increase for women. Hardly, "no change"

In the future, you might want to check your data before you believe everything somebody throws in a pop book.

BTW, I promise I won't clutter this thread with anymore OT
