The Directors of Trans-Global Interactive are pleased to announce
that agreement has been reached, subject to completion of formal
documentation, with well known US Game Show host and producer Ed
Fishman. Ed Fishman has been a successful United States game show
producer and casino operator for over 25 years and was previously the
founder and president of the Players Club Group of Companies. The
Players Group was established to introduce individuals on a
subscription basis to the entertainment and gambling attractions of
major US Casinos. Mr Fishman is also accredited as the inventor of
casino tournament play and the founder of the World Blackjack
Championships. He has owned and operated a number of United States
Casinos based in Nevada, Illinios and Louisiana and took the group
public under the name of Players International Inc. Mr Fishman
developed and produced the successful games shows:
Diamons Head and Dealers Choice and has enjoyed a long term
association and partnership with US Television Game Show Icon MervGriffin.
A new Company will be formed owned 66.6% by Trans-Global Interactive
and 33.3% by the Ed Fishman Group. Pursuant to the agreement the GET
Group will provide its interactive technology to a celebrity game
show channel which will be launched on 1 January 2000. The channel
will initially feature four "Wheel of Fortune" or "Sale of the
Century" style games in which viewers with digital television will be
able to participate.
Viewers will be able to participate by using a credit card or smart
card to log onto the show interact and win cash and prizes.
Revenue will be generated through celebrity endorsements and
merchandising, sponsorships, corporate brand advertising and pay to
play tournaments. Negotiations have been under way for some time with
prominent US celebrities and the Company anticipates that formal
announcements will be made shortly.
Upon completion of the Online Game Show Channel transaction
Mr Fishman will join the Board of Trans-Global Interactive. This
announcement is the culmination of many years of work, research and
development by Tibor Vertes and the GET Group. The Directors of
Trans-Global view the association with the Ed Fishman Group as
instrumental in establishing a major presence in the US Digital
