Why p.m.?
Wordperfect and the suite is supposedly as good as word and its suite.
But, it probably is being given away to manufacturers who in turn sell computers with the suite for very little. The buyers are getting the suite and not valuing it as they are getting it for virtually free with a very cheap computer. They are unlikely to pay much to upgrade or buy wordperfect or its suite later on as they are getting a very good suite for virtually free. With all the cheap computers being sold, if corel didn't give its suite away,a certain percentage of people who bought cheap pcs would buy wordperfect because it is very good, better than cheap, giveaway, lite wordprocessors and suites, and corel could have sold it cheaper than word and its suite. Am I wrong? Am I missing something? Is corel being wise? Is corel hurting itself?
