I think BLS will own Qwest regardless of whether they get USW or not.
Or maybe MSFT will buy them, they've been buying up everything that has a telecom associated with it recently.

We may have a pop on the open. If you are short term, you may wish to get out. I don't see Nacchio giving up. Unlike the uninformed on the Yahoo thread, which can't seem to get logic over emotion, Nacchio considers USW vital to Qwests long term viability as an independent telecom. Without it, I agree, as soon as the FCC repeals the laws preventing Bells from LD, Qwest ceases to exist. We will all make money probably, but not near as much as we would over the longer term as an independent, whether purchased later or operationally. JMO
