I second your opinion on Qcharts. An amazing package. Whatever they are doing to optimize the bandwidth is very impressive. I keep looking at my DU Meter not believing the low download rate. I can open way more than my 2 21" monitors can show, multiple T&S on busy stocks, a gazillion stocks on my quote sheet, many charts and it still just seems to sip the data. They say they are only compressing the data and not dropping/filtering it.

I am using Java Trader by Castle for my L2 and executions (IMHO an equally impressive package for quick executions on Nasdaq) and Qcharts seems to be only about 1/2 second faster on most quotes. I like the little things on the interface, the ability to insert blank columns and rows on a quote sheet, very configurable charts, ISLD book, hotlists, and even the realtime portfolio is quite cool.

I have only been with them for a couple of weeks. They do have a demo on their beta version if you call customer service for a username and password. I am glad to have found a suitable package to replace Realtick III.

My only question is how come you didn't tell us about it sooner Sean???? <gr>

Thanks
Dan
