I assume this means a downlink of pages and reply through the phone lines? They are not thinking of something really new like having 2way communication to satellites with transponders, are they? I am sure this is still out of the question.

This means you can download ok but you are in for a surprise if you think you can email out a 15 meg tiff file in a few seconds. For most stuff it will be good.
