hey doug, believe me, i've contemplated upgrading a couple notches to 4.61. for right now i'm going to try patching 4.51 together. i think i'm seeing where it is crashing on me. but i won't fool with it too long before i do as you suggested. i didn't want to enter into any trades today because my browser crashed twice within the first 15 minutes of trading. i want to get my system back to its old stable self. isn't it odd how a system will go along behaving so well for so long, then rear its ugly head and suddenly you're in a horror movie! :) mark
