MINNEAPOLIS, June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Network Technology Corporation (Nasdaq: CMNT) (CNT(R)) today announced that it filed a registration statement with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the offer and sale of up to 4,025,000 shares of common stock, including an option to the underwriters to acquire up to 525,000 shares of common stock in connection with any over-allotment of shares. The Company anticipates completing the offering, subject to market conditions, prior to September 30, 1999. The price and final number of shares offered will be based on market conditions at the time the offering is commenced. The managing underwriters of the offering are Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc., SG Cowen, BancBoston Robertson Stephens and Morgan Keegan & Co., Inc.
