Hello Rarebird, The most prominent character I have noticed in y2k articles and discussions is that the more informed writers (i.e. system analysts, y2k project heads) portray the darker scenarios, while the uninformed keep their head in the sand. The further away a person is from the computer industry, the less significance this person will attribute to the millennium bug. Sometime in the near future the media will yank the public's heads out of the sand, and there will be panic. Maybe a small one, maybe a large one. IMO the sooner a panic starts, the better. If the panic will be enflamed in November it could be a big one. National Guard situation. ATG
