Hmmm last I checked EBAY was down for 22 hours costing millions and all because of Sun not installing a patch (a rumour).

PC maintenance can be done by just about anyone unlike UNIX which has maintained the same 70's command line interface for configuration. That's why people run MSFT on the desktop ... it's easy to use and maintain.
