And the same thing goes for the doctor using the drugs, He may be an outstanding physician , he may have saved thousands of lives, relieved suffering and pain,had to sacrifice everything else for many years of difficult training, etc. etc., but none of this will matter when he gets sued. He is expected to be inhumanely perfect and never make even the slightest error. Even having god like perfection wouldn't be enough because he can be successfully sued even if he doesn't make a mistake. It's no wonder that our best and brightest no longer go into medicine.
