Steve, from the 10Q:

" At the beginning of 1999 Xicor raised prices on most of its memory
products. Based on order levels to date, Xicor anticipates that sales will increase modestly in the second quarter of 1999 compared to the first quarter of 1999. Additionally, a slight improvement in the gross margin percentage is projected for the second quarter of 1999, provided customer demand holds. However, Xicor expects to continue to incur net losses during 1999 principally due to the high fixed cost level and expected continued underutilization of its wafer fabrication facility."

That, plus the contested inventory valuation issue that was discussed at yearend, that was supposed to last through the first half, in my opinion will lead to a loss in the 15-17 cent range as I have previously noted.

However, whenever, you have a stock doing well like this, it is the comments about the future that are more important to the price. I think those should be positive as I have said.
