To complete their incompetence, Merrill had a very unsuccessful secondary. Now with the price trading at or below their $39, the new holders may be overhead resistance, and we lost out on most of yesterday's boom in net and netbanking stocks. Furthermore, I doubt Merrill or anyone new will provide research coverage to the stock, which would be the only possible remaining benefit to the secondary.
