The real danger of continually spouting these "disparity" statistics is that it invites some sort of government intervention in the private employment market place.

Women who are worried about this should mentor a girl, encourage her to study, work hard, and if it means so much to her, don't ever fall in love get married, and have children - the real career breaker.

Any girl today can grow up and be lonely, frustrated, rich, president of a big company. If she really want to.
