JFAX Launches Free Voicemail to Email
Lets Users Receive and Listen to Voice Messages Via Email
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 22, 1999--JFAX.COM(TM) (JFAX Communications), the award-winning unified messaging service, today announced the introduction of Free Voice, its new voice message service allowing customers to receive voice messages via their email accounts.

With JFAX.COM Free Voice, customers are assigned a personal phone number. The number is then used to leave voicemail messages, which are converted to audio files in either WAV or GSM format. The voicemails are sent instantly to users' existing email addresses. To listen to messages, users just click on an icon embedded in the email.

The service is free to anyone with an Internet email address in the United States. Free Voice is available immediately at jfax.com.

Jaye Muller, founder and co-chairman of JFAX Communications, said: ''With JFAX.COM Free Voice, we're delivering a service that will introduce one stage of unified messaging to everyone from road warriors to day traders. We believe that many Free Voice users will move up to our full-featured unified messaging product which allows customers to get everything from voicemail to faxes in their email or by phone.''

The JFAX.COM Free Voice service has unlimited voicemail message capacity. The number is free as long as users receive at least two minutes of voice messages each month. Messages can be deleted or saved. JFAX provides a small, easy-to-install 300K audio player in the welcome set-up letter.
