I can't help but add my 2 cents. As a LT holder of EMC, it was absolutely inevitable that they would be challenged in a market that is predicted to grow rapidly. They have successfully competed with IBM in the past, and IMO, IBM is determined not to be caught with 2nd rate products again. EMC's market share will not grow at the rate it has. However, with the growth of storage needs, profits will continue to grow. Their will be a slowdown in the price for a while, but I am not pulling the trigger.

As I mentioned before, among my biggest mistakes was to sell SUN many fractions of its current price when Hewlitt Packard entered the work station market. I would rather IBM not compete, but it was entirely expected. We'll, IMO, still do well.
