I am sure the MM's know what they are doing. The float of SYCD is very low so the volume is not normally that high. They need the wide spread in order to make some money. Notice how the spread tightens when the volume goes up. I would rather see a gradual UPWARD price movement myself instead of these sudden spikes that require you to be a "johnny-on-the-spot" to take part in the action. Take care.
