NEEDHAM & CO - THEY ARE PLAYING IT SAFE, SINCE THEIR TARGET PRICE OF $ 11 ISN'T FAR OFF FROM YESTERDAY'S $ 10 CLOSE. THEY WOULD RATHER DOWNGRADE ALSC TO A "BUY" FROM "STRONG BUY" AND MEET THE $ 11 TARGET IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS! AS YOU KNOW ALSC DOUBLED IN THE PAST FEW DAYS. MY ONLY HOPE IS THAT ALSC DOESN'T DO ANYTHING STUPID LIKE S3 (SIII) DID TODAY - GO OUT AND BUY "DIMD" FOR 0.52 OF S3's STOCK WITH SOME OF THE $ 600 MILLION CASH THEIR UMC INVESTMENTS GENERATED!
