I was interested to read in yesterday's National Post of the reductions in the numbers of junior mining/exploration listings on Canada's exchanges over the past couple of years. Placer Dome was quoted as acknowledging that this trend continues to reduce the number of what they call "mid point developments" available for the senior companies to pick up. Perhaps this trend will make such properties as Starpoint's all the more attractive.
