If S3's price reaches just the $16 intrinsic value (assumes UMC value doesn't grow) by October than DIMD shareholders receive the equivalent of $8/share which is almost double what their price was before yesterday's runup anticipating the buyout. Not bad at all! One analyst said that the acquisition will be accretive to earnings.
