As I understand the concept of TA when properly used, fundamentals should be used to pick the industry and the company and TA is used as a check that you are going to pay a fair price and not overpay. It is used as a timing analytical tool. As Lindy says, most of us on the thread are long term investors and so the gyrations are not that important.
