Funny you should ask. I just closed my position in BEARX today. I bought it for the same reason, IRA money. I lost about half my investment and got tired of never seeing it go up. (check out the chart, except for October 98, it goes straight down). Glad I only put in a small portion of my portfolio. I think Tice is expecting the big Kahuna and unless that happens, he is not well-positioned. You might want to find a broker who will let you buy puts for your IRA.
