Sorry I couldn't post here earlier. Don't think that I am anyway discouraged about RMBS story. It's just playing out at Intel's schedule.

Dear brother longs:

I have just returned from PCEXPO and found no systems found running RDRAM in anyone's booth.

However, I found 2 RIMMS @ Transend and another 2 @ Viking Components.

One has to keep the faith until Oct before RDRAM systems ship. The shorts are going to love this.

Intel booth - Don't expect working Camino demo systems in booths until ISPCON in NYC in Sep. Seemed to indicate Camino based solution rather than Carmel.

API booth (DEC Alpha chip) attitude was they will support any memory other arch. before RDRAM.

Viking Components - Have chips and test capablity awaiting Intel. Quoted same Oct date more realistically DEC/Jan in volume.
Stated OEM relationship with Dell

Hewlett Packard - Stated RDRAM in Kayak line of workstation available in Oct/Nov. Check white paper on web site for HP's RDRAM mindset.

I found no PC133 systems anywhere.
