Just had meeting w/Weiner in P.Springs!!!! For those of you who have been on this board for some time you will recongize me. If you have read my prior posts, you know that a friend of mine and I are large shareholders in GAAY. I thought it worth my while to come out to Palm Springs from the Midwest where I live and "kick the tires" on our investment. I had an hour and fifteen minute meeting with Dick Weiner. This company is for real folks, no smoke and mirrors here! Below is a summary of our meeting, some of the information is just a reconfirmation of old facts, some of it is new information.
38 million outstanding 30 million float The company has no debt--Sun studios acquisition is closed, the purchase was done with shares and those shares are included in the 38 million.
Triagle does own 100% of Palm Springs Television Studios Inc.
The company has outsourced the server functions for the websites. IMO very smart!! No immediate capital outlay and state of the art servers. Weiner said the sites will be able to handle well over 200,000 hits per hour.
The tecnology team consits of 3 people. Plenty, since Triangle will be outsourcing the server functions.
I asked Weiner if he had looked at other bingo related websites like, "Bingo.com". I said that they looked pretty slick to me. His response, "Our's will be better."!!
Weiner said they are talking to four sponsors for the show.
They are talking to two hosts for the show, one of them "very famous".
Weiner also played a demo tape for me on the show he did in Hawaii. It was a bit dated as can be expected, but it was very professional. There will be updated technological enhancements for the new show. They were making copies of the old piolt while I was there.
These folks are not IBM botton-down types. However, the offices are there, the studios are there, the demo is there, the dishes outside the studio to beam the broadcast to space are there. All very positive signs.
Weiner is very smart and a hands on type of guy, just what you want in a producer. Throughout the whole meeting, there wasn't an issue or question that Weiner could not address.
And, oh, by the way, Weiner said there will be very positive things happening in the next two to three weeks. IMO this statement is not to be taken lightly from someone who has delivered on his promises from the get go!!
Regards
