WRS is not Microsoft. If it were trying to go after all consumer markets, it will certainly fail. Instead, WRS is working together with others such as SUN, HP, Intel, and NCI to bring complete products to the end users. In another word, VxWorks will go as far as WRS' partners are willing to take it. In general, WRS is not in the driver seat like Microsoft is. But WRS is sitting on the passenger seats of a lot of racers.
