I disagree with the account number. I think it is more likely that customers would open one account to learn how the system works. I Netbanked for over a year on a single account. Recently I added an account with bill pay and I am hooked! I do agree that the customer # is less than the account #, but my theory also supports continued account growth as people get "get hooked" on Netbanking.
