Hey bgg...where you been? Been expecting to hear from you earlier to hear your projections prior to earnings! Well...I will admit that Benahamou & Paisley are out of their league in comparison to Cisco Mgmt...that has been obvious for awhile. I accumulated quite a bit of 3com in the 20's and will continue with strategy (hold). Haven't decided to short 20% of my position in 3com on Wednesday until I digest the CC news. I agree...a penny is not going to cut it but .07 above last yrs qtr isn't that bad although I was expecting quite a bit more. Now that the audited numbers are out, we could see a renewal interest in an acquisition...I don't think Benhamou is capable of moving the organization forward...I've said this all along, but the techical side of the organization has quite a bit of value and certainly will garner more than 30/sh. I don't like to use the word "If" but "If" Chambers was at the helm of 3com...this organization would be in the 80's! Well...good to hear from you...let's bury the acrimony of the past! Been thinking about moving into the Japanese mkt...looking at Sony very closely...whats your read? HK
