Of course not they want to fool the customers.

It will be interesting to see the 500/550Mhz Celeron benchmarked against a PIII 500/550.

And you know what they won't dare publish those "relative" numbers either.

And they were able to do so for a while.

But now most folks have figured out the Celeron is a great value as a processor and the PIII sucks period.

Intel has to limit the speed grades on the Celery to maintain the facade - I just don't think it will work too much longer.
