It sounds to me like someone is out to rain on the CKFR parade. I find it hard to believe that someone would be able to recreate the wheel with anything more than the success that Transpoint has demonstrated in the marketplace to date. If what is spoken of is for real, the question will become the lead time necessary to roll it out.

I do not for one minute believe that Pete Kight and his management team were unaware of this alleged announcement. It is my belief that this may be the critical factor driving the development of the portals. A rudimentary analysis suggests that the brick and mortar that comprise the existing banking system is crumbling, almost as rapidly as the walls collapsing around the retail brokerage firms. The question that must be answered is how quickly they can change their current forms. For CKFR and the portals, change is not necessary, the mere adaptation of an auxiliary system is all that is necessary.

In the long run you have to ask yourself where are most consumers going to log on to pay their bills, at their given bank site or through their favorite portal, the portal wherein they learned how to use the internet.

I like Benny would like to hear something from someone other than Crafty.
