I have always liked this sequence of events. Maybe someday I'll find out whether I was right or wrong... April/1996 - Merck initiates Phase I clinical with DNA vaccine for influenza. June/1997 - Merck pledges aggressive development of HIV DNA vaccine Sept/1997 - Merck licenses Naked DNA for growth factors Nov/1997 - Merck licenses Naked DNA for therapeutic vaccines Nov/1997 - Merck makes $5m investment in Vical stock xxx/xxxx - Merck initiates Phase I clinical with DNA vaccine for AIDS Seems like there is nothing new to post so I am dredging up ancient history...
