Howard... you are making me smile...

For a paradox to be a true paradox, the premise of the paradox must be also be true. That's the trick on all paradoxes.

Well... actually, that is only partially true... the conclusions also have to be valid to be a true paradox. In the case of the 1/2 way man, the conclusion that he would never get to his destination is a faulty one (given infinite time)... as the little experiment I gave you proved.

There are many physical situations that seem to the observer as paradoxes (i.e. electron tunneling or how some physical properties seem to change as one approaches the speed of light). As Einstein would point out though... much has to do with the observer's inertial frame of reference.

As to PR's ending with a statement that says they are a lie... well, I have yet to see one of those. Yes, I have seen the "corrections" that Digitcom has published. I still maintain that they are no different than the standard disclaimers I have seen in virtually all non-OTC company's PR's... except that they appear in a different PR than the original statements. In fact, the last "correction" PR that Digitcom issued was a much more informative PR than the original.

Again, I guess it depends on one's frame of reference.
