Well you know brees, its a well known fact that Seattle residents and Washingtonians in general hate Californians. But since I lived in California as a child for a while I know that for every one person that leaves California for a Pacific Coast state 3 of them come here, and thats just from the west. And yet they bitch bitch bitch. Palo Alto used to have 1/20 the population it does now, where did all these people come from... demographically it is impossible for them to have been born here. And the problem is some areas like San Jose used to be less expensive and then they got prohibitively expensive, largely because of all these newcomers. So then, where are the old San Jose people going to go. Some family friends live in Oregon and they hate Californians, in fact when I go visit they want me to put my car in the garage so no one can see the license plate and toss eggs at the car. But then, when their kids graduated from OSU they sure as heck didn't stay in Oregon... down they came to work at HP. Somehow it doesn't occur to these people that hating Californians while at the same time partaking in the career opportunities is just a little hypocritical.
