hi dan,

well, it has been explained to me by a very reliable source that the offering (in spite of first appearances) was really quite straightforward... with no strategic investor coming on board... guess we'll have to save those speculations for later on.. ;)

apparently there is some sort of silent filing procedure with the sec which took place a couple of weeks ago.. and your speculation about the oppenheimer conference being a quazi road show was right on the money... must have gone well as reportedly some "large" american financial institutions took some sizeable portions (400k -500k)

in any case think both the demand and lack of insider selling both positive...

fwiw... have been watching for signs of further involvement by siemens but have found none... in fact, surprisingly, they weren't even named in the latest orct 20f as a strategic partner for vdsl... am not sure what's going on there, but fujitsu seems to have stepped into those shoes...

thanks for posting items from the Josepthal analyst's note..

am still waiting for that orct/harris press release officially announcing the new quad vdsl chip... wonder what's keeping em?... after all, they've been showing it off in public (supercomm)... sounds maybe more than kinda promising... just glanced over the spec's for broadcom's offering and didn't notice and mention of "quad"... btw as far as the vdsl competition is concerned, broadcom does the silicon and nextlevel uses it in their equipment...

til later
