If Iridium does get back to the target price of Lehman Brothers, after all this talk about bankruptcy and capital calamity, I do hope that all readers of the posts here have ample evidence for something I have been saying from over 20 years of managing money: analysts are not worth a damn (Jack Grubman and QWEST included). You have to do your own work, your own due diligence. Citing an analyst for what he/she says is about as worthwhile or worthless as citing something I said. They, like I, know no more, or less, than anyone else. About the only thing I have learned from analysts is that ocassionally, infrequently, they may know a bit of market moving info 8, 10 hours before some others. The William Kidd piece from CE Unterberg that Iridium is about to go under I am going to tape to my Bridge machine. I'll look at it next year to see how right, or how wrong, Kidd was.
