Good post John. I agree whole heartedly. Dell has never been Mr. excitement but he has consistently delivered results which speak for themselves. He has a unique business mind which is under appreciated by the high-roller crowd. I particularly like his aversion to un-necessary risk and his focus on profitable activities. Unfortunately, the most profitable pursuits are not necessarily the most glamorous. There are thousands of arm chair CEO's who have criticized his every move over the years... and they still do... and always will, no matter how successful the company is or becomes. MEATHEAD
