Ron, I also shopped around,
and I settled on CTIX for my reservations as well, they were the cheapest and had exactly the flights that I wanted.
I to have wondered what has held this stock back. They sell more airline tickets than PCLN which I think the market values as the online travel leader at this time. I have concluded that CTIX needs to do reservations for Hotels and Cars as well. Airline tickets are just a small portion of the travel experience. You need a place to stay and a way to get back and forth from the room to your destinations.
I think that adding those types of services would greatly boost the value of the company.
I personally don't like PCLN's model because you are not sure of exactly what you are buying but you are sure as hell buying it, like it or not. As I stated before, PCLN sells more than just airline tickets.
Maybe we need a travel service that does it auction style. Seats go to the highest bidder. How good would that be...It's a week before you leave and you get a notice that some guy just beat your price and took your seat...LOL.
But in all seriousness I am watching this stock carefully. I believe that sometime in the next year or so the online travel stocks will have their day to shine. Maybe we will see some valuations like the online brokers or portals.

Good luck on your trades
