Well, I may have exaggerated somewhat. CW had corn too and I think potatoes. Except the waitress brought fried okra by mistake, which no one would eat, even though she said we could have it free.
We were at Good Eats. We went because the last time we ate there, a bug fell out of the ceiling into our food and they gave us the meal free. We were hoping it would happen again.
It was a palmetto bug--- fell right into the mushroom smothered chicken on my mother-in-law's plate. She called the waiter over and said, "Look."
He said, "Oh, we've had a problem with those this week."
She said, "Do you think I'm going to pay for this?"
He said, "Well, not if you didn't order it," which earned him a very big tip from Dan, who appreciates quick thinking. |
