no jim i don't run a 22b company...i run a small 100m company who has operated under a bto/jit model since 1980 in partnership with kawasaki heavy industries.

i am a small stockholder, i only have 30k shares, i have been a stock holder since 96.

if what i say for your perspective is useless, they why bother to read my posts...only read those that fit your mind set or lack of same.

so my friend...what is the plan, you are very astute, does not the dell model call for in motion three to five year plan... does on line auctions fit in the plan...in essence the common comment on the thread about dell being a "fast follower" is corrugated bs, for that type of management is in opposition to a bto model.

it appears to me that anything except the "drink the koolade" line is considered gratuitous.....i give no advice to "mikey" or anyone else, i just comment on basic business logic of one who perhaps has a bit more "real world" acumen then most...so if ya see my name, just walk on by...no problem......
