Mechael's vision is OK. He single handedly revolutionized the manufacture and marketing of PCs with his build-to-order model.

As for IBM --

This is the company which had a chance to buy Microsoft for peanuts and didn't. What vision! One would have thought that losing the exclusive right to sell DOS would have caused them to become a little sharper. Guess not.
