Maybe part of the reason DIMD gave back to Nvidia its stock was because of the impending S3 merger. Didn't CREAF supposedly dump a large number of shares of TDFX stock when TDFX bought STBI?

Would NVDA really want to merge with CREAF or anyone? Cost-cutting advantages aside, it would seem that NVDA would have much greater command of pricing now over the remaining board makers such as Hercules and Gullimont, as those board makers really have no one else to turn to.
