EPro, the better question is "Why was NetBank up today when most NetStocks took a decent hit?" For instance, look at LCOS, and AOL. Many stock were up and then fell hard in the mid afternoon.

Why did they fall?

Interest rate concerns. The bond market is going up which means interest rates on bonds is going up. Where some is expected because of the expected Fed tightening, the rise is bonds in bond prices has been stronger than expected. Some fear that the bond market is telling us that things are going to get worse before better regarding inflation and interest rates.

Personally, I don't believe things have changed that much.

NTBK: $ 34
