DoubleD,

The oil sector just his a double top. It is quite likely heading downward over the short-term and maybe long term.

Energy is production costs "IS" a huge factor. Whether it be electricity, sufficient enough to light a small city, used in some of the S. African mines where huge quantities of cold water and ice are produced to cool the mine shafts, or merely the fuel costs of operating all of that mining and heavy hauling equipment.

Go and tell a mine operator trying to extract a few ounces from each ton of rock that the fuel costs to mine, haul, pulverize, heat, and process gold isn't a huge factor.

I know it certainly is for the copper miners in Arizona.

Regards,

Ron
