Sofia,

You must be among very few people concerned about
the interst rates.

99 percent of soft and hardware sold in Europe are American
made, there is no such thing as European high tech, nor Japanese!!
When the rates increase,Euroepan currencies are sold out in favor of
dollar. Today Deutch Mark rates are about 4%, and falling. The same
goes for the rest. With strong dollar, US exports are hurt, and
earnings are lower. You have people who get lost on superficial talk
about threat from Japanse and Samoans chip makers, blaming the decline
in INTC share prices on this or that. The market got bloodied today
becasue of fear of rates, and then for any other factors.
Now companies like KO will not have their earnings hurt becasue the
manufactuer locally, world wide. INTC do not. They have to export!!
