Are you talking about the same thing here in comparing the NMR and PCS products from Conductus? I was not aware of anyone using HTS technology to build antennas for PCS. Filters, yes. But not antennas. The resistance loss in antennas is insignificant compared to cable, filter and propagation losses so I don't think a rational company would actually spend capital to pursue this.

The filter market itself has been blown out of proportion in my mind, but Conductus should be in the best position of exploit it if/when a market actually develops (as opposed to curiosity and speculation), plus they have other lines of business besides cellular filters so they aren't a single-product company. I'll buy CDTS on a tech-stock pullback, which I feel is inevitable as fund managers lock in gains before the summer doldrums and uncertainty regarding the fall elections.
