Nah. <g> It was stated ever so much more eloquently by the founders of this country but it was there between the lines, I think, since it was not a notion taken to by certain parties. If it had been it would not have been necessary to state it, imo. And I do think it was one of the most remarkable shifts in thought of our world. It goes hand in hand with "we're created equal". No, we're not "equal" or the same in all ways, but we have, or perhaps should aspire to give to each other, the same latitude (right) to joy in life, to being who and what we can be without someone deciding that for us. Education goes a long ways towards achieving that. To help provide it for people means a lot. Why the heck do I need kids of my own to want kids to have that gift?
