Rande, this self-prescribed 'challenge' seems to strike a chord with you for some reason or another. My message was meant as a compliment. You're not the only one who's making a killing in this market, there may be others on this thread doing just as well perhaps. The difference is that they don't publicize it so blatantly, and for many good reasons IMO.
You're doing great Rande, much better than what I would describe as a 'hot' streak because that implies luck. Your reasons for doing so well are numerous and complex, but they do not exclude the invaluable opinions of your compadrés on this thread and elsewhere. Lest we forget that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts...
After further examination of your challenge, I see no written purpose other than "to increase awareness," or in other words, to size up your audience (because anyone who's at HOME regularly already knows of your track record). Guess I just feel you should let the lurkers come to you, might get a better crop of students and/or contributors that way.
And besides, there's a difference between being upfront with someone and tooting your horn in their ear about it.

BTW, I do think that your 'State of the Thread' post was an excellent summary of your methodology for successful trading and how it has molded this thread. I thought is was rather professional as well, in that it spoke of past achievements and further plans of action. |
