G'day all again, Stitch, like others, your reflection is greatly appreciated. Basically, my informants in HK said of similar things, i.e., at the highest level, normalcy has returned. However, there is no trickle down to the lower level [yet.] In a way, while the miseries in SE Asia is a lot more intense, the US recoveries in the early 90s reveal similar pattern. Of course, people here in the US were on balance in a lot better shape, despite massive professional - and psychological - dislocation. It helps if there is proper and even governmental policies to bootstrap the respective economies and peoples though.
