I am traveling now but I just checked in briefly.
I'm very glad you found this "water in the dessert", and while we are not back to the old days yet, we are getting there. It seems to me that the recent posts here, by those who have filled out profiles and provided their e-mail addresses has picked up the quality. I found Monica's and Henry T's posts particularly outstanding. Even John Hs post on DEC, although contrary to the thinking of most on this thread, was constructive. I was also heartened by the fact that most of the participants on this thread have refrained from responding to those who have not complied with this forum's request for personal disclosure.
To those who believe that they can destoy this thread by not complying with its rules, I can assure you that you can. Most certainly you can ignor the courteous requests of its participants, and protest how unfair it is, but then again, people like myself, Paul and Jack, will leave again.
