If the Palo Alto FTTH trial is actually only as far along as the article explains, if they can get it into operation by June, 2000, as they project, well, you have to say they guys are good.

Or perhaps you might conclude they are absolutely clueless as to the design, procurement, logistics, engineering, integration, deployment, physical construction and civil works, commissioning and test effort that lay ahead of them.
