Interesting articles. Some observations: Hardly anyone notices what they spend on Blockbuster since more often than not it is an impulse purchase. It does seem a lot more visible with VOD in a monthly bill. I would think Summer usage would go through the roof, with kids home from school, and a VOD movie just a click away. I liked the comment: "It will be like the Internet, and it will encourage people to think of it as a brand-new service, available all of the time,..." That supports my previously stated view that these companies could acquire ridiculous valuations.
